Creation and Covenant

On Thursday 24^th September, for our Creation and Covenant topic, the children enjoyed dramatising stories from Abraham’s life. They had to retell the story of Abraham and show an understanding of the term ‘covenant’. They explored his blessings and his challenges and gained a deeper understanding of how these showed his faith, hope and love in God.

Multiplication Masters!

The children are working hard to build their confidence and fluency with multiplication facts in preparation for the Year 4 Multiplication Check later in the year. To support this, the children are practising their times tables every day through quick-fire activities, chanting and online practice. They especially love joining in with MC Grammar and his raps (see picture). These short, regular sessions are helping them to recall their multiplication facts quickly and accurately, while making learning fun and engaging. We are very proud of the effort and enthusiasm the children are showing. Keep practising at home too — little and often really does make a difference!
