Year 2
Year 2 certainly have Green Fingers! Our new topic for Summer is Plants! The children will explore different parts of a plant and how they grow. We have planted carrots, sweetcorn, beans, salad leaves, herbs and many more! Fingers crossed all our seeds grow into strong healthy plants and we have a bumper crop!!
As part of our Science topic, we have been investigating materials and their properties.
Our topic last term was The Great Fire of London. We had a creative writing morning, where we created our own poetry and then set the poems to music! It got a little noisy but was lots of fun!!
Year 2 love their Wednesday afternoon yoga sessions in the hall!
