Year 5

Junk Modelling! Year 5 collected all their rubbish to make boats! We then tested the boats in a paddling pool to see whose boat could hold the most weight! Carlos won with his boat holding 4kg!! We all had a great time and made a lot of mess!

Wednesday 9th December 2020 - Year 5 held a 'Christmas Talent Show' today! All 10 acts (including Mr Winstanley's excellent joke act) were fantastic! Well done to all the children who took part and to our winners, 'Nyah and Maja!' Everyone had a great time and lots of fun!

Monday 23rd November 2020 - Year 5 and 6 recently took part in a 'D and Tea' competition for St Antony's RC High School. The children were invited to design their own mug! These are the three winners from the competition! Congratulations to Ra'e (Y5), Bella (Y5) and Madison (Y6).

11th November 2020 - Year 5 acted out some scenarios this afternoon where children may feel under pressure! The class learnt how pressure can be spoken and unspoken and also good or bad!

Congratulations to Kovie and Bronte for being runners up in the Manchester United Black History Month poster competition.
